My Passion for Cooking with a Pressure Cooker
Since I was a little girl, I remember my Granny cooking with a pressure cooker. It always seemed like such a scary kitchen gadget. She was never much of a cook herself but when she did cook she used her pressure cooker. My Paw-Paw told a horror story once of my Granny using it and she left it unattended on the stove and too much pressure built in it and the top blew off into the ceiling. All I can say is that they have come along way. They even make an electric pressure cooker now with safety features on it that even an amateur cook could use it without error or potential disasters in the kitchen. I've cooked many things like beans within an hour, a roast for dinner and cooking a whole chicken in very little time. I've even cooked meatballs!
